ST217A Automatic drug relative density meter
The ST217A automatic drug relative density meter is designed and manufactured based on the oscillation type density meter method in the third method of the 2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia 0601 relative density determination method. The oscillation type density meter mainly consists of a U-shaped oscillation tube (usually made of glass material, used to place samples), an electromagnetic excitation system (causing the oscillation tube to oscillate), a frequency meter (used to determine the oscillation period), and a temperature control system
U-shaped Oscillating Tube for Measuring Liquid Density:
The oscillation tube method is used to measure the density of a substance by inducing oscillations in a glass U-shaped tube using electromagnetic waves. The vibration frequency of the substance is related to its density, and the actual density of the substance is calculated by comparing the frequency difference between the measured substance and a reference standard substance. The oscillation tube method is used to achieve high measurement accuracy.
Performance characteristics
● Constant temperature control: As liquid density is greatly affected by temperature, it is necessary to convert the liquid density detected at real-time temperature to the liquid density at 20 ℃. This instrument is controlled by a constant temperature bath, where the sensor, its components, and the sample solution are sealed inside the bath. The temperature of the oscillation tube (sample solution) is detected by a temperature sensor, and the electronic components are controlled by a microcontroller to cool or heat it, ensuring that the temperature inside the bath remains stable within the range of 20 ℃± 0.1 ℃. This not only solves the problems and errors caused by conversion, but also ensures the measurement accuracy, stability, and repeatability of the instrument (the constant temperature value can be customized according to user requirements)
● Directly display the density value of the liquid at 20 ℃ with temperature display: the oscillation frequency of the sensor is detected by a microcontroller, and the density value of the liquid is calculated using a mathematical model of the relationship between the sensor frequency and liquid density. Then, floating-point operations are performed to ensure that there are no additional errors caused by insufficient calculation bits during the calculation process, ensuring the accuracy of the measurement results. The density value calculated by the microcontroller is displayed as a five digit number and has a temperature display window.
● Automatic sampling: Using a microcontroller to control a stepper motor to drive a peristaltic pump for sample suction, the automation level of the product is improved
● Acid and alkali resistant pipelines: The pipelines that come into direct contact with liquids are all imported acid and alkali resistant pipelines to ensure that the instrument can measure acid and alkali solutions.
● Data storage and transmission: Equipped with a built-in storage chip, it can store 80 sets of detection data and can be recalled and deleted.
● Calibration function: When the instrument is not used for a long time, drift will occur. This instrument can be calibrated using 20 ℃ pure water as a standard, which is a function that glass density meters cannot achieve.
