SH106BR Automatic open flash point & fire point tester

The SH106BR fully automatic open flash point and fire point tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the Chinese national standard GB/T 3536 "Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Method)" (ASTM D92), GB/T 267-1988, and ASTM D92 "Determination of Flash Point and Fire Point of Petroleum Products (Open Cup Method)". It also complies with the "Safety Inspection and Testing Specifications for Products in Use in Coal Mines—Air Compressors" (MT/T 1203-2023) for open flash point testing of compressor lubricating oil.

The open flash point tester is commonly used for lubricating oils and heavy petroleum products, as the vapor formed by heating these products continuously diffuses into the surrounding air, resulting in higher measured flash points. For most lubricating oils and heavy oils, especially when used in non-sealed machinery or at low temperatures, even trace amounts of light hydrocarbons will evaporate during use, posing no risk of ignition or explosion. Therefore, these products are typically tested using the open flash point method.

Instrument features

● This instrument adopts a color LCD large screen display, a fully Chinese human-machine dialogue interface, an unmarked keyboard, and has prompt menu and guided input functions for parameters such as temperature, sample number, atmospheric pressure, and test date that can be preset.

● Automatically calibrate the impact of atmospheric pressure on the experiment and calculate the correction value.

● Differential detection, automatic correction of system deviation.

● Scanning, detection, and printing data are automatically completed, and the test arm is automatically raised and lowered.

● Electronic ignition, forced air cooling.

● Can automatically ignite without the need for a gas source, improving the safety of the test.
